The terms that govern your use of CertAssist.
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CertAssist website and platform. By using CertAssist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
CertAssist provides a software platform that helps you work through compliance frameworks, capture evidence and prepare for certification, and gives your auditor access to review that evidence. We may add, change or remove features over time.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login secure, and all activity under your account. Multi-factor authentication is required. Please tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
CertAssist is offered on a single membership at a flat US$375 per month, or US$3,999 a year (12 months for the price of 11). Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Each CertAssist subscription, and the workspace (tenant) provided with it, is licensed for the compliance program of a single organisation only, and must be used solely for that subscribing organisation's own compliance activities.
If you are a consultancy, implementer, managed service provider, reseller or similar, and you wish to use CertAssist in connection with more than one client organisation, each client organisation requires its own separate subscription and workspace. You must not use a single subscription or workspace to run, host, manage or deliver compliance programs for multiple distinct organisations or clients. We may review how a workspace is being used and, where a workspace is used for more than one organisation, require additional subscriptions to be taken out or suspend or terminate access in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of the data and content you put into CertAssist. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content to provide the service. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the right to use it.
CertAssist, including the platform, software, design and brand, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
We work to keep CertAssist available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may perform maintenance or make changes to the service.
CertAssist is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CertAssist is a tool to help you prepare for certification; it does not itself grant certification, and it is not legal or compliance advice. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertAssist will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using CertAssist and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, you can request an export of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CertAssist operates, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
